Imitation Fast

In the solemn spirit of Lent, I have decided to abstain from most social media, namely IG and FB. If you send me a funny meme, know that I will see it in 40 days time. You could also just text or email it to me, as my intention in distancing from social media is partly to bring myself closer to others through more intimate forms of communication. Better yet, describe the meme in great detail in a hand-written letter and put it in a bottle and send it out to sea. Then hire a carrier pigeon to alert the man on the mountain to send a smoke signal to the telegraph operator who will pass on the translation to the telegram messenger who will alert me that I need to take a swim.
